to Smart Card Vending
The Smart
Vend Credit to Smart Card Vending System is
a combination of hardware, software and a telephone
line that address the needs of small value transaction
automation in a closed environment. The system is
made up of several components including:
Customers are issued an initial
Smart Card either from a manager or one can be purchased
from the Credit to Card Revalue Station..
Value can be added at any
time to the Smart Card by inserting the card into
the Credit to Card Revalue Station and next swiping
a credit or debit card. Once the transaction is
processed the value is added to the card and a receipt
is printed.
To use the vending machines,
the customer will insert their Smart Card into the
card reader and the machine will display the value
on the card. Next the customer will select a product
and the reader will deduct the vend price from the
Smart Card and the product will be dispensed.
The Credit to Card Revalue
Station will allow the customers to check the balance
on their Smart Card at any time, all they need to
do is simply insert their card and the reader will
display the value.
