Networked Expense Management System
Smart Vend offers a system to help manage
photocopier expenses. Whether internal copiers or
student accessed copiers or both Smart Vends Networked
Expense Management System can provide billing reports
or deduct funds from accounts automatically. Smart
Vend can provide hardware terminals that interface
to your copiers. These terminals communicate through
the network back to a server. The server contains
all of the software needed to maintain a user account
list with limited or unlimited funds. The server
software contains a large array of options to allow
each configuration to be built to your needs. Reporting
is accomplished through a web site stored and accessed
locally from the server. The terminals contain a
swipe reader and a keypad for true authentication,
a user can swipe a standard magnetic stripe card
and/or enter a PIN number for authentication. This
assurance is as strong as what is found at a standard
ATM machine. Also all communication taking place
on the network between the terminals and server
is encrypted keeping all data safe. For more information
