Cash to Card Equipment
The Smart Vend Card Center is the heart of a cash based smart card system. Using the Card Center customers can add value to their existing cards or customers can purchase additional cards from the Card Center.

Adding Value to a Smart Card:
A customer inserts their card chip forward and face up into the smart card reader located at the top of the box. Next the customer can insert a $5, $10 or $20 bill into the bill acceptor below to add value to their card. The customer can insert multiple bills up to a maximum value of $50. When complete, the customer presses the blue return button on the smart card reader and the card is ejected.

Purchasing a Card:
A customer presses the Buy Card Button "A" at the bottom left of the box. Next the customer inserts a $10.00 bill into the bill acceptor, once the bill is validated the card is ejected from the dispenser slot "C".

Checking Value on a Smart Card:
A customer inserts their card chip forward and face up into the smart card reader located at the top of the box. The value will be displayed on the reader display. Next, the customer can press the blue return button to eject the card.
